For the second time in its 18-year history, the Under Armour Next All-America Game will take place in DeLand.
Spec Martin Stadium will host the annual showcase, which features some of the nation’s top high school football players, at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3. The event came to Volusia County last year after previous stints in Orlando and St. Petersburg. It’s never been played outside of Florida.
The game has a rich history. Since its inception, NFL stars like Julio Jones, Myles Garrett and Jameis Winston have participated in it.
Last January, Team Icon beat Team Unstoppable 31-19. Dakorien Moore, now a freshman wide receiver at Oregon, earned the MVP award.
This year, the squad’s names are Team Pearls and Team Roses. More than 100 prospects from the classes of 2026 and 2027 will suit up.
