In a significant escalation, Russia launched a large-scale aerial assault against Ukraine overnight, deploying a barrage of drones adn at least one ballistic missile.Ukrainian air defenses managed to intercept a considerable portion of the incoming ordinance, but the attacks still resulted in casualties and damage, especially in Kharkiv.

According to reports from Ukrainian military sources, Russia launched 111 “Shahed” attack drones and a ballistic missile from the Rostov region. the Ukrainian Air Force stated that their forces successfully downed 65 of the Shahed drones, along with an unspecified number of other drone types. On the night of March 30, the enemy attacked with a ballistic missile launched by the Rostov region and with 111 Shad attack drones and simulatory drones of various types… At 9 today, it was confirmed that 65 Shad attack drones and some of other types were knocked down in the North, South, Eastern and in the center of the country.
