According to NBC News, Maxwell is trying to get Trump to commute his sex crime conviction.

Trump was asked Friday night on Air Force One if he has ruled out a pardon for Maxwell.
– I haven’t even thought about it. I haven’t thought about it in months. Maybe I haven’t thought about it at all, you’re just asking me, replied Trump.
– Why can’t you rule it out? the reporter continued.
– I’m not talking about that. I’m not ruling it out and I’m not confirming it, I’m not even thinking about it,” Trump replied.
NBC News reported from the beginning of the week that Maxwell is trying to get Trump to commute his sex crime conviction. Maxwell was recently transferred to a low-security prison. It has been reported that he received special treatment in prison.
The BBC is demanding compensation of up to several billion dollars
Trump also told reporters on Air Force One that he would sue the British broadcasting company BBC and demand up to several billion dollars in damages. According to Trump, the required amount of compensation can be anything between one and five billion dollars.
The president said that the matter will possibly move forward next week.
The BBC previously apologized to Trump for a misleadingly edited video for the company’s program.
Trump’s lawyers have previously threatened to sue the BBC for $1 billion in damages unless the company publishes a correction, apologizes and pays compensation.
