It’s been a few months since TrimUI announced the Smart Pro S, an improved version of its horizontal Smart Pro. However, although it has been available for purchase through a few third-party resellers, TrimUI has just started selling it, TrimUI has just started selling it. Today, buyers have another option as the handheld is now available on Amazon.
Unlike the Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini which is sold by the official Ayaneo store and shipped from Amazon, the TrimUI Smart Pro S is sold and shipped by a third-party seller called Timexplayer. Fortunately, buyers can get a 30-day refund or replacement if there is a problem.
The TrimUI Smart Pro S is available in all six announced colors and at the same price of $99.99 as on the official website. However, the price increases when buyers choose to purchase the handheld with a microSD card. Choosing a 64GB microSD card increases the price to $109.99, while bundling with a 128GB card is $119.99. The price of the Smart Pro S with a 256GB card is $133.99, but this option is not yet available as of this writing.
The TrimUI Smart Pro S is a Linux-powered handheld with a 4.96-inch 1280×720 IPS display. It is equipped with an Allwinner A523 processor combined with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of onboard storage. A microSD card slot allows you to add up to 1TB of additional storage.
The handheld features TMR joysticks with L3 and R3 function and RGB ambient LEDs. It also features stacked shoulder buttons, an active cooling fan with adjustable speed, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging via USB-C.
