SALT LAKE CITY – Davis Darts quarterback Tradon Bessinger, one of the top high school QBs in Utah, has reopened his recruitment after decommitting from Boise State.

College football recruiting analyst Blair Angulo first reported the news on Monday, October 27.

Bessinger confirmed the news with a post on social media.

“First and foremost, I want to thank everyone that has helped me along my journey,” Bessinger wrote. ” I would love to show gratitude and show love to Boise State and everything they have done for me. With that being said, I am decommitting from Boise State. My recruitment is 100% open. Trust God!”

About Tradon Bessinger

The 6’5, 210-pound senior enters the UHSAA playoffs third in the nation and first in Utah with 3,595 passing yards, while completing better than 75 percent of his attempts. Bessinger has 44 passing touchdowns against only three interceptions and led the Darts to a 9-1 regular season, earning first place in 6A Region 1.

He threw for a season-high 504 yards in a 54-22 win over Syracuse. Bessinger has four or more touchdown passes in eight of the ten games this season.

He enters this weekend’s playoff matchup against Bingham with 10,190 career passing yards and 118 touchdowns.
