Victoria Jones has been found dead, according to US media. The 34-year-old daughter of Oscar winner Tommy Lee Jones was discovered in a hotel in California on New Year’s morning, reported the entertainment website TMZ, among others.
Emergency services were alerted to a medical emergency at 2:52 a.m. local time. However, on site the paramedics could only determine that the woman was dead. The exact cause of death is not yet known; an autopsy has been ordered. There is no statement from Tommy Lee Jones yet.
Victoria Jones was an actress herself
Tommy Lee Jones had Victoria with his first wife Kimberlea Cloughley. She began her acting career as a teenager and was seen in, among other things, “Men in Black II”.
She later took on roles in the series “One Tree Hill” (2003) and in the film “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada” (2005), directed by her father. Her stepmother Dawn Laurel-Jones also worked on the production as a still photographer.
