Only a few days after facing each other in California, the Timberwolves and Kings meet again on the night between Friday and Saturday, at the Target Center in Minneapolis with the former clearly favourites, much more than they were in the predictions before that match, which was then won by a landslide.
The reasons lie both in the field factor and in the progress of the recent match against Minnesota who won by 27 points but also in the general trend that sees the Timberwolves doing really well. The Kings will therefore need a super test, to be done without Murray, with the doubt of Sabonis but with the presence of Zach LaVine who has recovered from the thigh problem. For the hosts, however, the news is totally positive: the only absentee should be Terrence Shannon and, among those present, the one who attracts the most attention is Edwards, not only for his figures which saw him score at least 35 points for two of the last three games but also and above all because Ant was coming from a flexor injury, which evidently recovered very well.
For the next cycle of home games which will always see the Timberwolves playing under the odds except, probably, for the match against the Denver Nuggets, coach Chris Finch can therefore be optimistic even if Sacramento will do everything to subvert the forecasts and return to the success that has been missing for four games.
