Tijuana.- The Blood Bank of the Tijuana General Hospital continue working with minimum necessary reserves for emergencies.
The above was announced by the bank’s doctor, Angélica González Gómez, who pointed out that The available blood is consumed in a few days.
“They don’t even reach three days, we are only covering for the week. It is impossible to supply 100% of all the blood”he commented.
“There is less pressure on the family if there are voluntary donors, so we ask that they come and donate. It is very necessary”he expressed.

This Saturday a blood donation event was held for children with cancersince according to González Gómez, approximately 200 minors with cancer require constant transfusions.
During the day, around 30 effective unitswith recurring donors and some new ones participating.
