The Provincial School for Defense Comandante Horacio Rodríguez Hernández recently hosted a ceremony marking the 64th anniversary of the Central Army’s establishment. the event served as a platform to recognize exemplary service and welcome new members into the ranks of Cuban youth.

During the anniversary event, medals were awarded to individuals demonstrating outstanding service within the Revolutionary Armed Forces. Furthermore, membership cards for the Union of Young Communists were presented to deserving young individuals, marking their integration into the vanguard of cuban youth. Key figures presided over the anniversary celebrations, including Colonel Jorge Félix Meneses González, Chief of the General Staff; Colonel Fernando Morales Cordero, Head of the Political Section of the Military Region Matanzas; and Juan Rodríguez Larduet, a member of the ideological political bureau of the Union of Young communists in the province. their presence highlighted the significance of the occasion and the importance of unity and leadership within the armed forces.
