Michel Truniger, head of the Uri Theater, emphasized the strategic rationale behind this move: We would like to bundle resources and take into account the buying behavior of the visitors. This consolidation aims to optimize resource allocation and enhance the overall customer experience.

New Ticketing System: online and Limited Box Office Hours

While Uri tourismus AG will continue selling tickets until May 31st, the Theater Uri will launch its new ticketing system on June 1st. Patrons can purchase tickets online around the clock. For those preferring in-person transactions, the theater will operate a box office with limited hours:

• Fridays: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM
• One hour before each event

the box office is located in the entrance area of the Theater Uri. A service fee of two francs will be applied to all tickets purchased at the counter, including those bought at the box office.

Vital Considerations for Theatergoers

The theater Uri has announced that additional box office hours during rental events are not currently planned. However, they reserve the right to extend opening times based on demand. the box office will be closed on public holidays that fall on a Friday. Patrons should plan accordingly.
