Last Friday night, Ballymacarbry Community Centre Theater Hall was abuzz with excitement. The Bridgeview Drama Tallow group presented The Weir, an excellent performance that left the audience in awe.

The Clonmel High School team seized its moment, defeating Scarrif in the Munster B Senior hurling final, securing their first-ever Munster Senior Hurling title.

As the community of Ballymacarbry enjoys its moments of triumph and artistry, the Ballymac LGFC is seeking support for its upcoming fundraising drive. This initiative involves the collection of bottles and cans that must bear the ‘Re-Turn’ symbol, be clean, and uncrushed.

Ballymac LGFC anticipates collecting on February 22 from 9 am to 12 pm. Participation is valuable, as it will help fund essential activities for the girls’ club. Residents are encouraged to start gathering their recyclables to contribute.
