About plans
We have big plans for this year. Now the season begins with the World Cup stages in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Our main goal is to qualify and receive a license for the World Cup finals.
Besides, we are going to go to Europe. On your own, with your own car and horse transport, straight from Kazakhstan. The distance is approximately seven thousand kilometers. On the way through Russia we will stop, give the horses a rest and continue on our way.
The departure is planned for the beginning of July, and we plan to stay there almost until November. The journey takes about a week, because the horses need rest: we ride for a day, rest for a day, and so on. The horse is not made of iron, and such a rhythm is necessary for the safety and health of the animals.
This has to do with logistics and veterinary requirements. You cannot send horses directly to Europe. In Kazakhstan they still vaccinate against anthrax, while in Europe they have long forgotten about it. Therefore, we need to undergo a month-long quarantine in Russia.
We have goals and dreams. The dream is to reach the Olympic Games. The goals are more specific: to raise the level of equestrian sport in Kazakhstan and make our club the most recognizable, not only in the country, but also in the CIS. We want equestrian sport to develop at the level of other Olympic sports.
