The Polisario Is A Factor Of Instability In…

by drbyos

In a press release received by MAP in Buenos Aires on Sunday, DHSF stressed that a large part of the Polisario hierarchy is being pursued by international justice for these serious violations of human rights, criticizing the sequestration by this paramilitary group of Sahrawis in inhumane conditions in camps in Algeria.

The same source underlines that the DHSF foundation has witnessed over the last two years the actions of the Polisario, with the blessing of its Algerian sponsor, claiming to have documented through evidence and numerous testimonies, the serious violations of human rights. Man exhibited during the second international meeting of human rights defenders, held from April 18 to 20 in Santiago.

This human rights NGO indicated that these violations were the subject of complaints before international justice, which was seized of the hundreds of Sahrawis disappeared or victims of arbitrary detention without trial and subjected to a regime of total isolation, in addition to the recruitment of child soldiers which has been denounced by the United Nations.

For all these reasons and like other human rights NGOs, DHSF demands the immediate release of all political detainees by the Polisario on Algerian territory, the clarification of the fate of hundreds of people missing and the punishment of those responsible for the rape of Sahrawi women.

US Supreme Court To Debate Whether Homeless People…

The Case of Helen Cruz: Homelessness in Grants Pass Reaches Supreme Court

In a city park in Grants Pass, Oregon, Helen Cruz set up her tent a few years ago and made it her home. She chose this location to be close to the houses she cleans for a living but could never afford. Little did she know that living in a park would thrust her into a national debate that will reach the Supreme Court next Monday.

The debate revolves around whether cities can respond to the increase in homelessness by punishing those living on the streets. The case coming before the Supreme Court will challenge the constitutionality of fines imposed on homeless individuals for living in public spaces.

The issue is of great concern as the number of homeless people in the United States has increased by 12% between 2022 and 2023, according to a report from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Grants Pass, a city of 38,000 in southern Oregon, has responded by stepping up its anti-camping enforcement, which prohibits sleeping in public with “bedding,” such as sleeping bags or warm clothing.

Critics argue that these ordinances disproportionately target homeless individuals,

Ducksch Mentions The Advantages Of Werners Tactics Against…

Marvin Ducksch was recently exposed to some criticism, but the 30-year-old responded to it on the pitch – in the style of a top goalscorer.

Within the club, the importance of Marvin Ducksch at SV Werder is beyond question, as coach Ole Werner confirmed after the 2-1 win against VfB Stuttgart DAZN. “I’m happy that he’s playing with us and is working very well in the third season. I don’t have to say anything more about it.” Against VfB, Ducksch ended a nine league game and 721 minute goal drought and then shone with a brace.

A double pack that should provide a little more peace after the striker had previously been criticized, especially on social media. At “kicker meets DAZN”, Ducksch himself found clear words and was then explicitly supported by his coach.

After the end of the negative series of seven winless games in a row and now seven points ahead of relegation place 16, the far north is likely to be able to breathe a little, it seems as if the specter of relegation has been banished for the time being. The Green-Whites owe this to a very committed performance,

Milan Is Competing With Ice Cream Sellers

© Shutterstock

In an attempt to curb the “wild nightlife” and thus give residents more sleep, the city council of Milan is taking action against ice cream sellers, among other things. “Do they realize what they are doing?”

Marco Granelli, the deputy mayor in charge of public security in the northern Italian city, recently introduced a proposal that would ban the sale of takeaway food after midnight in Milan’s popular nightlife districts. Bars and restaurants would also have to close their outdoor areas from 12:30 am on weekdays and 1:30 am on weekends, in the hope that this will “clear” the streets of people who disrupt the peace of local residents. If the proposal is approved, the measure will be in force from next month until early November.

Not only pizzas are subject to the ban, but also ice creams. And that is precisely why the proposal is currently receiving a lot of criticism: meeting late at night to eat an ice cream is an intrinsic part of Italian culture. “What does an average Italian family do in the summer? They go for a walk after their meal and get an ice cream,” said Marco Barbieri of the Italian retailers’ association Confcommercio.

Salary Increase Is Part Of The Governments Measures…

The National Director of Labor of MAPTSS, António Estotes, said that the new Presidential Decree, made public this Friday, 19th, on the salary increase in the public sector, fits into the set of measures that the government has implemented to improve the Public Service remuneration policy.

Estotes said that the measure, taken to improve the lives of public servants, will be accompanied by others, such as valuing and elevating careers, after verifying the specific issues relating to each area.

On the subject, economist José Macuva understands that the additional salary increase of around 30 thousand kwanzas is a political measure in response to pressure from the Union Centrals.

José Macuva states, on the other hand, that the “government is concerned about the systematic demands of the Union Centrals and, to respond, this measure was adopted”.

The academic considers that the measure will not fully respond to the demands, but it can ease the tension that is being felt on the part of the working class, taking into account the Executive’s arguments that “it is not possible to meet the demands of the demands book because of the situation economic situation that the country is experiencing,

#Knowledge #Authority #calls #flexibility #continuing #distance #learning

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai called on private schools, international universities, and early childhood centers in the emirate to be flexible and provide the “distance learning” option, to meet the needs of students, teachers, and administrative staff, who are still facing challenges resulting from the exceptional weather condition.

This comes at a time when the educational community in Dubai is preparing to continue “in-person education” within educational facilities, after converting the study to the “distance learning” system since April 16, due to the exceptional weather conditions that the Emirates witnessed. The decision to transfer the study was made to preserve the safety of students, administrative and teaching staff.

The Director General of the Authority, Aisha Miran, accompanied by the work team, made inspection visits to private schools and early childhood centers, to determine their readiness to receive students after the exceptional weather situation.

Miran appreciated the efforts of government work teams and educational leaders for their dedication to returning life to normal and providing a safe environment for our students.
