The Head Of An Internet Publication Was Detained…

Arshad Ibrahimov, the head of the website dunyaninsesi.az, operating in Ganja (364 kilometers west of Baku), was detained by the staff of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Tural Ibrahimov, the brother of the site manager, said this.

According to him, charges were brought against his brother under Article 282.2.2 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan (demanding by means of threats, when committed repeatedly).

By the decision of the Narimanov District Court of Baku, a preventive measure of arrest was chosen for him for a period of 4 months.

According to Tural Ibrahimov, his brother was detained based on the complaint of the head of one of the Ganja city medical institutions.

“Allegedly, in 2021, Arshad Ibrahimov took a bribe of 200 manats from him, and then demanded money from him again through threats. “But the real reason for the arrest is my brother’s criticism of the police,” he said.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Voice of America that Arshad Ibrahimov was detained based on numerous complaints from citizens, and an investigation is underway.

Pay Attention: The Reason For The Roar That…

The Ax-3 crew, consisting of commander Michael López-Alegría, co-pilot Walter Villadei, project astronaut Marcus Wandt, and mission specialist Alper Gezeravci, made headlines on Friday morning when their successful return to Earth generated a phenomenon known as a sonic boom. Residents of Central Florida were left baffled by the loud, piercing sound that shook the region near the coast, sparking speculation and concern among the local community. However, it was soon revealed that the sonic boom was caused by the descent of Axiom Space’s Ax-3 crew in SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule after completing their mission to the International Space Station (ISS).

A sonic boom occurs when an object travels faster than the speed of sound, causing audible shock waves on the ground. While it may be alarming, it is a natural consequence of the return of space missions and does not pose any danger to the population. Axiom Space, a leading aerospace company, has been responsible for several previous sonic booms in the region during the return of its space missions.

The Ax-3 crew’s achievement was historic, as they became the first completely European commercial astronaut mission to visit the ISS. During their time on the station,

Al Bilad Newspaper Will The Ceasefire Agreement Be…

The Lebanese are cautiously awaiting the repercussions of efforts to declare a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on the battles taking place on the southern front between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, which to this moment are still witnessing an increasing and dangerous escalation.

Amid intense efforts to bring calm to the Lebanese-Israeli border in parallel with the ceasefire talks in Gaza, the southern Lebanese front flared up on Thursday, and the region witnessed high heat between the two sides.

The expectations of observers in Lebanon, according to private sources for Sky News Arabia, indicate that “the agreement to be implemented, which includes a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, as happened in the agreement last November, may lead to a calm in the exchange of fire on the border front.”

Based on this, the Lebanese hope that this calm will provide an opportunity to resolve pressing internal crises, especially the election of a president for the country.

In light of the repeated Israeli threats, and regarding the tension with the Lebanese Hezbollah, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that a solution must be found on the northern border of Israel,

Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold Criticizes Supreme Court Over Trump Ballot Case

In a recent interview with CNN anchor John Berman, Democratic Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold expressed her disappointment with the Supreme Court’s handling of the Trump v. Anderson case. The case involves a decision by Colorado’s high court to ban former President Trump from the state’s primary ballot. Griswold criticized the Supreme Court, stating that it has not been friendly to democracy in recent years.

“We know this is a court that has not been friendly to democracy, voting rights, and fundamental freedoms. I think, ultimately, this case is really important,” Griswold said. She found it surprising that the justices did not seem to discuss whether Trump committed an “insurrection” on January 6, 2021.

Griswold emphasized the significance of the case and shared her thoughts on the atmosphere in Washington, D.C., where she observed government buildings while the case was ongoing. She recalled the events of January 6th, with Congress members running for their lives and a violent mob attempting to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power. Griswold described being in the Supreme Court and hearing Trump continue to lie about his role in the insurrection as a surreal experience.

Tobias Baudin’s criticism of the moderate-led government’s work against gang crime is incomprehensible.

There are probably very few who think that the moderate-led government puts forward too few proposals with the aim of reversing the crime trend.

Thanks to the moderate-led government, several important reforms have already been put in place. For example, the police can now intercept gang criminals without a concrete criminal suspicion being required, gang criminals can now be banned from staying in certain places,

Pensions: Its Not Fair That There Are Still…

    #Pensions #fair #differences #selfemployed #employees #David #Clarinval

This Thursday, a high-level conference on the gender pension gap was organized in Brussels as part of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

A subject more relevant than ever. Because if we look at official statistics, in 2019, the average pension gap between men and women still reached 29.5% at European level. And with a gap of 31.9%, Belgium is not doing any better. It is far behind Estonia, the best student in the European class, where the gap is only 2%.

Despite multiple initiatives aimed at promoting gender parity, it is clear that there is still work to be done to reduce this persistent gap leading to an increased risk of poverty for retired women, particularly for self-employed women.

On the sidelines of this conference, the Deputy Prime Minister MR in charge of the Independents, David Clarinval, who believes “that it is necessary to work on these inequalities to allow a reduction in the gaps between men and women”, unveiled several proposals for his party for the next elections.

    David Clarinval defends his record

“In terms of pensions for the self-employed,

Alleged Trump Co-Defendant Accuses Georgia Prosecutors Of Misrepresenting…

Allegations‍ of Misconduct in Georgia Election Case

A⁤ recent ⁢development in the legal battle surrounding the Georgia election case involving former⁢ President Donald J. Trump has brought to light allegations of misconduct by the prosecutors. The defense lawyer for⁢ one of Trump’s co-defendants has raised concerns about the romantic ‌relationship between the Fulton County district attorney, Fani T. Willis, and the special prosecutor, Nathan J. Wade.

    Contradictory Claims

The defense lawyer, Ashleigh Merchant, has suggested that the prosecutors may have lied about‌ the timeline of their relationship.‌ While Mr. Wade‌ claims that the ‌relationship began after his hiring in 2022, a witness⁤ identified as Terrence Bradley could testify⁢ otherwise. Bradley ‌allegedly has personal knowledge that the romantic‍ relationship started⁢ before Ms. Willis appointed Mr. Wade.

    Conflict of ‍Interest Allegations

Ms. ‍Merchant, representing ‍her client Michael Roman, a former Trump campaign official, is seeking to disqualify the prosecutors from the case. She argues that ‍the romantic relationship and the prosecutors’ shared vacations, partially funded by Mr. Wade, present a conflict of interest. Ms. Merchant accuses the prosecutors of enriching themselves through the case.

    Legal Maneuvering

In response to the allegations, Ms.‌ Willis and Mr. Wade acknowledged their romantic relationship but dismissed calls for their disqualification as a publicity stunt.
