Governor Greg Abbott today celebrated Texas as state #1 in added jobs during the last 12 months after the publication of the employment data of July by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
“Texas continues to be No. 1 as a job creator in the United States, demonstrating that pro-negocios are pro-employment policies,” said Governor Abbott. “To ensure that Texas continues to move at the speed of business, signed laws this year to reduce bureaucracy, invest in infrastructure and expand professional training programs. When Texas companies are free to succeed, jobs grow and Texans thrive.”
Texas added 232,500 non -agricultural jobs from July 2024 to July 2025, more than any other state and overcoming the annual growth rate of the USA.
On Friday, Governor Abbott announced that Texas also established new records for the total non -agricultural jobs and the number of Texans working.
