Texans-Bills Referee Injury: Carted Off Field

by Archynetys World Desk

A suspected serious injury occurs during the NFL game between the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills. This time, however, it is not a player who is hit, but the referee.

Unfortunately, injuries are commonplace in the NFL, but no player was injured in the game between the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills (23:19).

In the middle of the third quarter, head referee Adrian Hill had to be carted off the field after he injured his leg without any outside influence.

Before, he was running as usual after a move when he suddenly jumped up and grabbed his leg. He was then unable to put any weight on his leg.

NFL: Referee Hill has been active in the NFL since 2010

After Hill was transported away, Roy Ellison took over the white cap as a symbol of the main game manager and led the game until the end.

Hill has worked as a referee in the NFL since 2010 in various roles. Since 2019 he has been officiating games as a “white hat”, i.e. as the main referee on the field.
