Terziev-Peevski Parking Dispute: Sofia Municipality Ready to Act

“I fully support the proposal: the parking lot next to “St. Alexander Nevsky” should serve the people of Sofia, not MPs and their “security zone”, which the parliament itself decided to allocate there. The Metropolitan Municipality is fully prepared to put up “Blue Zone” signs next week and open dozens of places for citizens – for people who visit the cathedral, the National Gallery or the BAS. The people of Sofia deserve this space to be at their disposal, and not in a specially guarded parking lot. Only one minor formality remains: Mrs. Raya Nazaryan, the Speaker of the National Assembly, must issue the order by which the Parliament vacates the field. I urge her to do it as soon as possible. And since the idea comes from Mr. Delyan Peevski – thank you for the inspiration! Now is the time for his political influence to materialize in support of Ms. Nazaryan, so that this excellent idea finally becomes a fact.
