Teddy Sule: Heir’s Rights & Family Dispute

by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

Jakarta – The feud between comedians Sule and Teddy Pardiyana has resurfaced. Teddy submitted a request to determine heir rights for his daughter, Bintang, to the Bandung Religious Court (PA).

The defendants in this case are Sule’s family, namely Rizky Febian, Putri Delina, Rizwan Fadillah, Ferdinand Adriansyah, and the late Lina Jubaedah’s mother, Utisah.

This application again highlights the lives of Teddy and Bintang after the departure of Lina, Sule’s ex-wife.

In the midst of the legal process, Teddy revealed his daily life in meeting the needs of living with his child. He admitted that he had opened an angkringan business.

“Yesterday we opened an angkringan. It’s called Angkringan Bintang,” said Teddy when interviewed via Zoom, Saturday (17/1/2026).

However, the results of these efforts are not always stable.

“Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s quiet. For Dede Bintang’s needs, yesterday he had a sale like that,” he said.

This angkringan operated in two locations, namely in Taringgul, Purwakarta, and the Kircon area, Bandung.

Teddy revealed that legal steps were taken after family communication and mediation efforts with Sule’s family did not produce results since 2020.

“Finally, we took the initiative through law so that the legal standing was clearer,” said Teddy.

He said that Sule’s family was busy as one of the communication obstacles.

“Sometimes we shoot, we’re busy, we don’t see each other for six years,” he said.

According to Teddy, the submission to the court was more focused on the educational administration needs of Bintang, who is now six years old.

“It’s more about the needs of school administration and education,” he said.

He emphasized that he did not care about public comments.

“As long as Dede Bintang’s rights and needs must be fought for, yes I will fight for them,” he said.

Teddy hopes that the panel of judges will grant the request to determine Bintang’s heir.

“Hopefully everything will be granted and run smoothly,” he said.

He also dismissed the notion that this step was related to the struggle for Lina’s inheritance.

“If you say you control assets, there aren’t any. Everything has been entrusted to you and there is proof,” said Teddy.

Teddy’s legal authority, Wati Trisnawati, insisted that the matter submitted was in the form of an application for the determination of heirs, not a property dispute lawsuit.

“What we are proposing is only the determination of heirs, it has nothing to do with the object of inheritance,” said Wati.

Until the fourth trial, Sule’s family had not appeared even though they had been summoned. A follow-up trial is scheduled for January 27 2026 with the agenda of summoning Sule as guardian, considering that Bintang is still a minor.

Wati also revealed that previously Sule’s family had requested that the application only include Bintang as the heir and not include Teddy.

“That’s what we object to, because legally Mr. Teddy is still the legal heir,” he said.

Because there was no common ground, Teddy’s party finally submitted an application independently to PA Bandung.
