Goodell indicated that the proclamation of the 2026 performer is pending finalization of a date by the NFL’s musical supervisor, Jay-Z. Typically, artists are revealed between September and October of the preceding year, as seen wiht Kendrick Lamar’s announcement in September 2024 for this year’s event.
