Taylor Swift Showgirl Release Time Spotify | News

Taylor Swift’s new album ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ is almost here – and fans are asking what time the record will hit streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music.

The new album is the follow-up to the American icon’s 2024 album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, which Clash lauded on its release, writing:

Though haunted by the phantoms of what could’ve been, Taylor’s most cathartic release to have created is her most cathartic to listen to; a spell-binding, toxic, chaotic illustration of what floating adrift and losing yourself looks like. Buckle up for a longer album, though Swift’s knack for crafting intricate storylines should captivate enough to see you through.

Since then Taylor Swift has been through some personal changes – getting engaged, for example – while also focussing anew on her craft. Incoming record ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ is said to be a return to overt pop songwriting, and was prompted by the thrill of performing on her record-breaking Eras tour.

‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ is out shortly, and as is tradition it lands on Spotify and Apple Music (alongside other streaming platforms) at midnight ET.

The release happens simultaneously around the world, and this translates to a 5am (October 3rd) release for UK fans.
