Sydney Sweeney is determined to defy typecasting and prove her versatility as an actress. Following in the footsteps of acclaimed actresses like Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman, she’s taking on challenging roles that showcase her talent beyond conventional expectations.
Sweeney is set to star in a biopic centered on the life of boxer Christie Martin, a role that has demanded significant physical transformation.
In an interview with Wague Waga, the actress detailed her rigorous regime, revealing that she gained 13 pounds to more accurately embody the character.
“My body changed fully, none of my clothes had happened to me,” Sydney Sweesty revealed.
She noted changes in her physique, including a larger bust and increased size in her glutes. Sweeney also expressed feeling stronger highlighting the development of well-defined biceps and broader shoulders visible in her social media posts.
Intense Training and Transformation
The actress’s training regimen includes weightlifting sessions in the morning and evening, complemented by two hours of daily kickboxing instruction.
This demanding routine has been sustained for three months.
Sweeney also shared that she will have onyl seven weeks to return to her previous physique for an upcoming role. despite the challenge, she expressed her enthusiasm for physical transformations and particularly enjoyed filming scenes in the boxing ring.

“My mother always told me it was important to fall in love. So I fell in love with sports,” Swey said.
In the near future, Sweeney is expected to reprise her role in the third season of “Euphoria,” slated for release in 2026.
