This text is Anne-Sophie, ex-commercial assistant in real estate, and her brother Romain who wrote it. After a year of work, in a building comprising several apartments, the Two Toulouse owners gave life, six months ago, at the Cocoon of Super Mario.
“We wanted theme apartments, to offer something more original than the average to have a more attractive vision of rental. We thought it would be nicer than in a lambda apartment. And Super Mario, it’s intergenerational. We all wear it in our hearts, children like parents and the youngest, ”explains Anne-Sophie, 40.
Living and playing in the world of Mario
So you might as well play the game thoroughly. From the living room and the bedrooms come out huge pipes, replicas of video games. The kitchen is green pepper. Some tables or objects take the form of a fungus. The cups are in the image of Mario, the toilets decorated with photos of Princesse Peach, Yoshi ou Toad… Of the pixelated tapestry plunge the sleepers of one of the rooms in the video game.
We put golden mirrors to recall Peach, on which we hung up hats by Mario and Luigi. It’s details, but we didn’t want it to be too childish.
70 m² neat to stick like Super Mario, co-imagined with an architect. And to believe in it until the end, the two hosts even slipped some board games and a console… To play Mario Kart or Mario Party, obviously ! Unusual.
