TOPEKA, Kan. – Mars is bringing the spirit of Summerween to the Topeka community, celebrating at its Topeka manufacturing site, also known as Mars Halloween Headquarters, next week.

According to a press release from Go Topeka, Summerween, which gained popularity on social media last year, offers Halloween enthusiasts a chance to celebrate during the warmer months.

In partnership with NOTO and GO Topeka, Mars is hosting a Summerween concert and community event on Thursday, June 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Redbud Park. Topeka community members are invited to enjoy an evening of Mars treats made in Topeka, along with music, food, and other festivities.

Mars has been Topeka Proud since opening its state-of-the-art production facility in 2014. The site now spans over 550,000 square feet and employs approximately 600 Associates.

As the Mars “halloween Headquarters,” the Topeka facility produces a variety of popular treats, including TWIX®, M&M’S® Peanut, M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Minis, and Fun Size candies like SNICKERS®, 3 MUSKETEERS®, and MILKY WAY® that are included in variety bags throughout the Halloween season and beyond.
