As Sean “Diddy” Combs faces serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking,Suge Knight, currently incarcerated, has offered his surprising outlook on the case. Knight suggests that combs should take the stand in his own defense.

Despite a lengthy list of witnesses providing testimony, Combs has so far refrained from testifying. Knight, speaking from the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility, believes that Combs could possibly sway the jury by presenting a vulnerable and human side.

Knight, serving a 28-year sentence for a 2015 hit-and-run, stated earlier this week, “I feel if he do tell his truth, he really would walk.” He elaborated on Thursday (May 30) that Combs could “humanize his old self” by admitting to past struggles and drug use, potentially earning the jury’s sympathy.

“But if they keep him sitting down, it’s like he’s scared to face the music,” Knight added. “He should just have his faith in God, put up his pants and go up there and tell his truth.”

“Puffy and I are not friends, but Puffy should definately walk free.”

Knight also emphasized that other executives involved in Combs’ life should share duty. “The most crucial thing is that it was other executives that were involved in Puffy’s life. For Puffy to be the only guy that gets on the stand is a sad day for Hip-Hop,” he stated.

Combs was arrested in New York City on september 16, 2024, and is being held at MDC Brooklyn without bail. His trial, which began in June,is expected to continue into July.
