The Stanbyme 2 is equipped with a 27-inch QHD display and has a slightly higher resolution than its predecessor. In addition, it can be loosened from the rollable stand with a click and attached to the wall using various fastening options.
It has an integrated battery that should not only enable three, but up to four hours of video playback. It is charged via the docking station or via USB-C cable. In addition, the Stanbyme 2 can be operated by voice control. The remote control can be attached magnetically to the display frame.
New form factor: Mobile displays from LG and Samsung
The model uses LGS WebOS TV platform and enables access to various streaming services, including LG Channels. Apple Airplay, Google Cast and Smart Home integrations are also supported via LG ThinQ and Google Home.
LG relies on the in-house α (Alpha) 8 AI processor for image and sound quality, which adapts content to the ambient brightness. The display supports Dolby Vision, the speakers Dolby Atmos. Home cinema functions such as virtual 9.1.2 surround sound are to be offered.
The Stanbyme 2 was already presented on the CES in Las Vegas at the beginning of the year. From 5 to September 9th, LG is now exhibiting it at IFA 2025 in Berlin in Hall 18.
