“Until the end of the world” is a Spanish reality and adventure television program, broadcast on RTVE 1. This is a version Spanish inspired directly to the Italian format Pechino Express (produced by Banijay, the same group as Pechino Express) and also a renewed version of the original format Impossible Expeditionwhich debuted in 2013 on Four and now he returns with a more ambitious approach. The program first aired on 12 November 2025, with weekly episodes on Wednesdays at 10pm (or 11pm for the premiere), also available on RTVE Play.

What is it about?

In this reality show, six famous couples compete in an epic 15,000 kilometer journey across 8 Latin American countries (starting from Colombia), with the aim of arriving for first at the “end of the world” (a final destination revealed at the end). They only have a map, a basic backpack and a limited budget of 1,300 euros for the whole adventure. No GPS, cell phones or luxuries: they must overcome physical and mental tests, negotiate transportation, work to earn money and face challenges such as jungles, deserts and mountains. The last couple to arrive at each “checkpoint” is eliminated, and the winning team can get prizes such as a “dirham d’oro” worth 3,000 euros, redeemable only at the end. Furthermore, there is one spin-off called “Beyond the end of the worldin which the presenter explores the culture and history of the places visited, showing “the other side” of the adventure.
