Sony has collaborated with insurtech bolttech to throw My Sony Care+an integrated protection program that offers extended warranty and free accidental and liquid damage (ADLD) coverage. The service is supported by Tokio Marine and is based on the already existing extended warranty My Sony Care. From mid-December 2025, customers in Hong Kong will be able to activate My Sony Care+ for cameras and lenses, while in 2026 coverage will be extended to Xperia smartphones, TVs, portable music players and over-ear headphones.
