A solidarity fund dedicated to covering the costs of treatments and social-health services carried out at the CR2 Sinapsi recreational and rehabilitation center in Cremona in favor of families and people who find themselves in difficult conditions economic and social: this is the project born from the collaboration between Credito Padano Bcc (Iccrea Group) and the Occhi Azzurri Onlus Foundation.
The formalization of the agreement took place on Tuesday morning in the presence of Arnaldo Ghisottipresident of Credito Padano and Filippo Ruvioli, president of the Occhi Azzurri Foundation
This project was born from the natural convergence of two realities deeply rooted in the social fabric of Cremona. On the one hand, the Bcc, which interprets the mutualistic function of credit cooperation as a proximity instrument, translating its mission into a concrete social responsibility towards the territory. On the other hand, the Occhi Azzurri Onlus Foundation, an organization that dedicates its daily action to personal care, to inclusion and the protection of dignity of those who live in fragile conditions.
For vision and values to transform into real change, they need to be supported by a tangible and measurable commitment. The Solidarity Fund is based precisely on this concreteness. Credito Padano’s support takes the form of the disbursement of a total amount of 15 thousand euros, intended to support the Fund in the three-year period 2025–2027.
“We would like to express our most sincere thanks for the attention and availability that the BCC has given us, in particular for the commitment that Credito Padano demonstrates towards the territory and entities, such as our Foundation, which operate in favor of the community and vulnerable subjects” he comments Filippo Ruvioli, president of the Foundation. This attention represents a significant value for us and an important signal of institutional closeness.”
“The choice made by our Bank to provide, for the next three years, a contribution that feeds the Solidarity Fund for those who cannot afford to pay for treatment at the CR2 Sinapsi center fully responds to the cooperative spirit that animates the mutual banks” he underlined Arnaldo GhisottiPresident of Credito Padano. “Giving not to receive, but so that it is given to those who do not have: it is the same principle of mutuality and solidarity that inspires initiatives such as the “suspended coffee” or the “suspended meal”. In our case we can talk about “suspended treatments or therapies”, with the hope that the Fund will be fed by many”.
The shared hope is that citizens can also feel an active part of this projectcontributing – even with small sums – to fuel the Solidarity Fund and support the activities of the Occhi Azzurri Onlus Foundation. Donations can be made by paying into the Foundation’s current account opened at Credito Padano, indicating the following IBAN: IT49Q0845411404000000231632 and the reason “Solidarity Fund”.
