The police conveyed the current condition of the child in conflict with the law (ABH) who was the perpetrator of the explosion at SMAN 72 Kelapa Gading, Jakarta. The perpetrator is conscious but cannot be questioned yet.
“ABH is conscious but still cannot be asked for information because he is still in the recovery stage after surgery,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto, to reporters, Friday (14/11/2025).

Budi said the police had questioned 46 students regarding the incident. Apart from that, nails were also found on the perpetrator’s body.
“The examination of 46 child witnesses was parallel with active observation from APSIFOR,” he said.
“Confiscated BB (evidence) from the victim’s body at RSIJ (there were) nails attached to the victim’s body,” he continued.
Previously, Budi said that the police had also questioned ABH’s father. However, he did not explain the results of the examination.
“Yes, 2 days ago,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto to reporters, Thursday (13/11).
Apart from that, 20 victims are still undergoing treatment to date. They were treated at the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, YARSI Hospital, and Kramat Jati Police Hospital.
“The victim data as of today, Thursday, November 13 2025 at 13.00 WIB, is 20 patients,” said Budi.
The following is detailed data on the 20 victims who are still being treated at each hospital:
– Jakarta Islamic Hospital treated 13 victims
– YARSI Hospital treated 6 victims
– The National Police Hospital is treating 1 person
Budi also explained that investigators had examined the father of the child in conflict with the law (ABH) in the SMAN 72 Jakarta explosion case. Police said the investigation was carried out last Tuesday.
