If we look at the last five matches of the blue and white, we start with a fierce battle in a friendly match with Táborsk. The second division team Táborsko surprisingly managed the opening forty-five minutes much better when they defeated their rival 3:0. In the second half, however, Buryán first came through twice, and in the final ten minutes, Langhamer and Matoušek completed the turnaround (4:3). We continue with a preparatory match against the Bulgarian team CSKA Sofia, which Boleslav dominated after Buryán and Ševčík scored in the first half hour (2:1).
The meeting with the second division Danish team Aarhus Fremad then brought a 2:2 draw, Zíka and Solomon John scored for Boleslav. The final opponent of Boleslav in the preparatory phase was Wisla from Krakow, the leader of the second Polish league was outclassed by Boleslav 4:1 when, among other things, the hero of the preparatory phase, Jan Buryán, once again asserted himself. The latter also secured the opening point of the spring season for Boleslav, when he scored a 2:2 draw in the 76th minute in the home match against Bohemians.
The final matches of the Tipsport league are not listed in the overview, as the Boleslav A team formally took part in them, but materially it was a junior team and the results of these matches have no informative value in relation to the match we are watching.
The current form of the team from Škodovek is as follows 2-2-1.
Michal Ševčík – Boleslav’s best scorer in this league season is 23-year-old midfielder Michal Ševčík, who is visiting from Sparta in Central Bohemia. The pupil of Zbrojovka Brno, who, in addition to his stint in Jihlava, also played briefly in Nuremberg and played five times in the league for Sparta, has five goals to his credit.
Matej Hybš – One of the reinforcements that should strengthen the weak defensive ranks of the Central Bohemian team is the 33-year-old experienced left back Matěj Hybš. A pupil of Sparta Prague, he already has 240 starts in the Czech top flight, where he also played for Jablonec, Liberec, Plzeň, Teplice and Bohemians. In addition, he also briefly played in the Polish Ektraklasa in the Termalici jersey
Jan Buryán – The 20-year-old offensive talent Jan Buryán appears to be a very worthy of attention Boleslav gem. He already proved his talent two years ago, when he scored an incredible 27 goals in eighteen matches in the U19 competition. This year, he has already proven his shooting skills in the second league, netting five goals in nine matches while on loan in Táborsk. Although it was not the same in the top competition last year and the year before, four goals in four preparatory games against difficult opponents suggests that Buryán is already very well prepared to take a decisive step into the Czech top competition.
He has been the coach of Mladá Boleslav since July this year Aleš Majer. The former striker played in the second league for Xaverov, and also worked in Admira, Kolín or Čelakovice. He began full-time coaching in 2012, working for the youth teams of Pardubice and Dukla, among others. In 2020, he took over the Dukel B team for four years and also briefly worked as an assistant with the A-team. In July 2024, Vlašim took over, after a successful season in which he led it to sixth place, Mladá Boleslav decided to hire him.
