Iluta Alsberg is a singer, songwriter, music producer and children’s pop groups Pockets The driver who lives in Kuldiga for the fourth year because the family has moved from Riga. Her name in Latvian music is no unfamiliar, and in her recording studio on Dārza Street, Iluta creates music for herself and young talents, inspired by sincere texts, sounding melodies and true fervor against creative work. A special place in the heart of Iluta takes work with children – it requires patience, creativity and ability to see the world in their eyes.
How did you become Kuldiga?
We and my family moved here four years ago, when the younger baby was only three months ago. For the first year I raised the baby and tried to adapt – to realize what was happening here. I didn’t know anyone except the family of friends – strains that have their own cafe. I started getting to know the Kuldiga community last year when I started working intensively in my studio.
I think I need another education for my musical activity.
For more than 15 years I have been involved in performing arts – the profession of singer, although I am a chorus conductor in my specialty.
I graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy at the University of Latvia. As soon as I got a diploma, I created an application next month for vocal lesson for children, but everything developed to the so that the action was transferred to another place – to the piano workshop Klavins Piano For rooms where I only use the piano. But the goal was the recording studio and I got it at home on Dārza Street. This was due to the fact that I wrote several projects, including the support of the municipality for young entrepreneurs. I was able to supplement this funding with hardware and other equipment, with tools to work fully with both children and adults.
Autumn is already time for training, self -improvement. Or in your studio?
It is. I’m a music producer. I can create any idea of a listening song or instrumental composition, you can record a specific tool. One customer recorded the sounds of rain trees, various plates and bells – they were meditative tools. I offer this opportunity for everyone.

The main thing for me is children’s development and music, and cognitive development is also important, as they go hand in hand, such as coordination exercises at electric drum. There are also ukules, of course, the piano that I manage best. They make my songs arranged in the recording program. I wouldn’t be able to control at least one instrument.
Children come very different because I offer individual classes from the age of four. There are also subtle motor exercises, we develop language – speech ability, because they go hand in hand with singing, and breathing leadership.
It should be remembered that children should not be too high. Many parents are waiting for great results. I always explain that the child’s voice links are not as developed as an adult.
If he connects two words when singing, it is already very good.
Years of leading classes for pop group Pockets. Children from six to ten years sing there. Go very well, I get a lot of energy in creativity, because songs for kids write and produce myself. Small singers are involved in recordings and videos and can be viewed on the site YouTube. For children, this is a valuable experience – then hearing yourself in the record.
I am happy to let the kids in Kuldiga allow you to experience it, because the opportunity is quite exclusive – even in Riga, not all of the children’s vocal studies.

You said that the song can be recorded by anyone. Some will say: They are given to sing that the bear on the ears climbsso it’s better not to do it.
With children, it is not as pronounced as adults. For many in childhood, such a complex has formed and they have the fear of publicly expressing themselves with their voice. Just because someone said back then – better not sing. It’s very harsh. I am extremely angry that there are people who can influence others. This is not true.
I am convinced that God has given voice and heard everyone and that is the language of the soul. Singing is the opening of the soul. Question – do you believe it.
Training is also important because it is the key to success. I also enjoy working with adults as well, because they are different with them. Children have more play activities.
What plans for the recording studio?
Development opportunities are huge. The space is also needed – the records need soft sound, so the concrete walls will not fit, there must be softening. This job is yet to come. We have started working on acoustic with wooden blocks – it also makes the sound softer.
I let all the children perform because of a term like do not come There is no practice in my practice. My vision for the studio is to give everyone the opportunity to experience the experience of the concert, the competition. If a cool teacher is able to interest, the children are inspired, fascinated.
Adults also need a source of inspiration. The satisfaction of what I like is one huge hormone of happiness.
And what is the source of inspiration for you?
Good music. Meeting with friends – I am inspired by conversations, they raise self -esteem. Friends are already needed to support each other, encourage and encourage each other. I really like jazz and soul music. This is not a genre that I execute. Mine is a synpop (from the word synthesizer – red.). There are many songs on my computer that I have not yet published. I’ll publish one soon. It is much harder for me than being a producer for another. I work with new singer Diana Lubi: I arranged and produced her songs. It is easier to help others, but to release your music – extremely difficult.
Or because you are too demanding against yourself?
That’s right! I am very demanding for myself – that would be the right character for me.
What do you tell about your songs?
These are different feelings. Last winter, after a long working day, I didn’t go out of my studio because I was very inspired and sat down until midnight. The man allowed me because the children dealt with the children alone. I rarely catch this great inspiration – I recorded my ideas, finished the song and published the next day on the distribution platform.
What was it about?
For a song Cunner I was inspired by Elizabeth Gilbert’s books on creativity. It was an essence that we had to learn to be fraudsters who look at the absence and details and strive for the good goal.
My texts are quite pleased, philosophical. Perhaps not immediately understandable, is deep.
But soon I will release a song about how I moved to Kuldiga, as a year I prayed to my husband to take me away from the walls, skyscrapers and take me where Bango’s waterfall and the smell of pine. In a word, very romantic. The texts are not easy – they are probably the most demanding in my work. Music, on the other hand, comes extremely easy – it could even be created from your questions and sing the sentence (laughs).
In classes when kids sitting next to me at the piano, we get songs together on topics that are important to them. That’s what the song was made Pockets And also the name of the pop group.
Why did you choose Kuldiga?
In fact, I come from Dobele County Naudīte parish. I was studying in Jelgava, then moved to Riga, where the further activity took place. Kuldiga had a dream with her husband. We often went to relax in the summer, stayed in rented apartments. Here I often had concert activities. I’ve performed with different artists – with the trio LemonadeEve Kerevica, Normund Rutuli.
Every time I didn’t want to go back to Riga – I wanted to stay here longer. The man was similar.
He also had a job’s commitment, because there were clients here – he went all over Latvia. Our friends Aigars and Kristine Celmi moved from Riga here. Very often we went here during the cop. Kristaps’ parents live on the Talsi side and we drove here to the cafe Residently coffee wind The terrace that was open at the time because of the outdoor.
We dreamed of buying the property here. It was not easy to find. We lived in Riga for a year and forgot about this idea.
But then my husband offered a job in Kuldiga, and I had a second baby. With musical projects a bit paused. We decided that we would try to move to Kuldiga. Here is peace and happiness. I was walking down the streets and still admired Kuldiga parks and architecture with pink glasses. The biggest supporters of me are the husband Kristaps, a daughter Lizette, who is eight years old, and son Cay Nathan, who is four years old.
How does the singer career begin?
The music is put in the cradle because both parents are musically. Father studied music, played guitar, trumpet and violin. Mom is still a music teacher – working in gymnasium and interest education.
I received this education at the Dobele Children’s Music School, where I graduated from the pianist class, then at the Jelgava Music College I received the specialty of the choir conductor. I sang Gunārs Kalniņš in the gospel choir. I created a trio later Lemonadeand we started an intense time for a busy time for many well -known Latvian artists. Last year we had a Christmas concert with Raimonds Pauls, which was shown on Latvian Television. I have a long -term collaboration with Jānis Stībele, there was a collaboration with the group in various projects BrainstormGustavo, Lindu Leen, Intaru Busul, Laima Vaikulis. I have participated in television shows, been X factor and Supernovae the participant. In the end, however, I decided that I wanted to get pedagogical education, to work with children – to promote creativity.

Last year we were together at a Christmas concert with Raimonds Paul. Currently we are each on the other side of Latvia and in our work – it would be difficult to rehears down. All have other priorities, and the trio Lemonade is no longer the first. But if there is any offer, we look.
Is it difficult to become noticeable in music?
You have to be constantly reminded of yourself, you have to invest a lot of work in social media. If I couldn’t, I wouldn’t be in Face Buka or Instagram. Put on information every day – it takes a lot of time. There must also be knowledge.
Is there a thrilling moment from a speech?
It was after Brainstorming Speaking when the whole team went out in front of the stage as on the tongue. The finals are always beautiful and thrilling – there are no lights, only the small fire in the audience and the latest sounds of music. Their words cannot be described. It is a special feeling because there are thousands in return. Energy is so positive, there is peace and happiness because you have done work.
Once at the concert, I was in shoes with a heel of 12 centimeters high for more than two hours. Today I thought how I could. Now even ten meters with them could not go (laughs).
Are there other heart -pleasing activities?
Yes, I would have a makeup and I was going. The stage is always related to the visual image. I’ve studied at the International Makeup School of Art, worked in a cosmetics and perfumery store Douglas. When I performed myself, I sinks other artists in the back.
Some were amazed that I was not only sinking but also singing. Today I spell ladies: I have a makeup, I make hairstyles and take pictures.
Some clients are now coming from Riga to Kuldiga. I once died in Riga. This summer was several times at the remote Residence In the cafe that I love, I also organize students’ concerts there.
