Hollow Knight Silksong tips

Here are a few tips for your adventure with Hornet in Silksong to be simpler:

• Look at the final bosses before attacking. Silksong is full of final bosses and, although you feel tempted to start the fight aggressively, it is always better to wait and observe. This will give you time to learn the boss’s attack patterns, which will allow you to know when it is better to dodge, when you can cure and, most importantly, when your turn is to attack. But prepare: you may only have a couple of blows in each opening window. It is better to retire and dodge to continue in the fight!
• Master Air Combat. Hornet’s air fighting can be a bit difficult to learn, but you will have to dominate it to advance. There are many enemies, including bosses, which can be attacked from the sky instead of the ground, so make sure to be lethal in the air. It will also be very useful when you are running out of silk and you can’t use a skill.
• Slate of the marked road!. Although most of Silksong follows a linear path, it is worth deviating from time to time. Looking down or breaking a wall can take you to discover the occasional useful secret. Who knows, you may even find a way of advancing in the history of the game, as in Hollow Knight …
• Corrupt pilgrims will give you rosaries. Do you think that bug used to be normal? If you kill him, you will get rosaries. This resources is very useful, since the rosaries are the most common currency in Silksong. They can be used to buy objects from sellers and unlock new banks or stops from the bell. So, whenever you see an aggressive bug, eliminate it to get currency.
• Turn your rosaries into ristras! Hornet loses his rosaries when he dies and it is only possible to recover them if you break the cocoon they leave … if they don’t kill you before. • Buy the pen and compass so that the map is more useful. If you have not played the original Knight Knight, you may be surprised to find your first map more than empty after buying it. If you want the map to be useful, you have to buy the pen and compass. The pen fill in the map details (but only after sitting in a bank), while the compass shows the current Hornet position. Luckily, Hornet does not lose these objects when he dies.
• Mark interesting things in your map. You can also buy markers for your map. They will allow you to leave small reminders of places you could not reach or minijefes you want to return.
