While the SG Dynamo Dresden professional team is experiencing difficult times in the 2nd Bundesliga, a completely new team is delivering the most spectacular reports of success.
The men are currently in 17th place, with just 7 points from 12 games, conceding at least two goals per game on average and are still waiting for their first home win of the season.
But while things are hardly going well for the professionals, one team in the club is making real headlines – namely the B-Juniors (U17). They’ve only been around since this season, but the explosion in performance is unbelievable.
New team – amazing start!

The U17 was only put together in the spring.
On May 7th the sighting training took place in the Ostra sports park:
31 players came, 17 ultimately made it into the team.
Many of the girls already played in clubs from Dresden and the surrounding area, but they have only been competing together as a Dynamo team since this season.
And since then they have dominated the state class B-Youth East. 96 goals in 7 games – such numbers are otherwise only known from handball or basketball
The facts from the first seven match days are hard to believe:
-96 goals scored
-only conceded 2 goals
-Won all 7 games
The last games in particular went viral:
35:0 against SG Stahl Schmiedeberg
17:0 against SG Dölzschen
You almost never see results like this in football; they are more reminiscent of basketball or handball results. The SGD U17s are on a scoring spree from week to week.
Double Dynamo top scorer list
Two players lead the league top scorers list:
1st place: 23 goals after 7 games
2nd place: 21 goals after 7 games
Won all competitive games – only RB Leipzig stops Dynamo
The U17 is undefeated in the league.
There was only one defeat in the Saxony Cup: 0:5 against RB Leipzig.
