Many children already take school alone. The transport minister therefore calls for prudent driving.

Potsdam (dpa/bb) – Brandenburg‘s transport minister Detlef Tabbert (BSW) called up all road users for caution shortly before the start of the new school year. One should “be careful, considerate and foresight,” said Tabbert, according to a message from his ministry. It is also about protecting the youngest – the first graders.

“Parents should take the time to practice their way to school with their children. Drivers should be particularly considerate and foresight,” said Tabbert. Around 24,000 first graders will start school life in Brandenburg on Monday.
