Saudi Arabia’s bid to make a splash in the world of sports continues – the wealthy Gulf emirate will host the World Cup in 2034. The planned NEOM Stadium appears particularly ambitious: a stadium at a height of 350 meters is already causing a stir after the concept designs went viral. The full list of 15 venues, including drafts, was first published in summer 2024.
