The three great parties, PSOE, PP y Voxthey closed this Friday electoral campaign in Castilla y León with his national leaders offering rallies in which they have asked for the vote for their candidates and in which national and international politics have had great prominence.
The President of the Government and Secretary General of the PSOE, Pedro Sanchezhas assured that it will deploy “all state resources” to protect citizens from the effects of the war in Iran, a conflict “that the Government does not endorse” and has reproached PP and Vox for supporting whoever started the bombings, but complaining about the consequences.
“I tell the right and the extreme right that they cannot be supporting someone who sets the world on fire and then complain about “smoke that causes that fire”he stated at the campaign closing rally for the elections in Castilla y León this Sunday, March 15, together with the socialist candidate Carlos Martínez.
Although the Executive still has not specified what measures it will apply To alleviate, for example, the rise in fuel and energy prices and when he will do so, Sánchez has made it clear that he will put the State’s resources “at the service of the people” just as he did, he points out, in past crises such as the pandemic or the inflationary crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.
The leader of the socialists has also asked to “concentrate the vote” of the entire left on the PSOE candidate, “It doesn’t matter if they voted for other progressive options,” has pointed out, because he is the one who can win on the right.
“So, no more tedium, which is that of Mañueco, nor more hatred, which is that of Abascal, but change, and change is Carlos Martínez and the acronym of the Socialist Party“, he launched before an auditorium full of people in the Millennium Dome in Valladolid, about 2,000 people inside and another 2,000 who had to stay outside and followed the rally through screens, according to data provided by Ferraz.
Feijóo: “Vox seeks to block”
For his part, the leader of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóohas closed the campaign in Castilla y León asking for a “free” Government for Alfonso Fernández Mañueco because Santiago Abascal’s party seeks to “block” and “deserves punishment from the people” at the polls. Furthermore, he has appealed to the voters of PSOE and Vox if they are “angry” or “annoyed” because only with the Popular Party is there “change.”
“I ask to win decisively so that Castilla y León has a solid Government, a stable Government, with a president who only depends on the people of Castilla y León. This is how battles are won in Castilla and León. And we are going for it,” he emphasized.
This was stated at the closing rally of the campaign at the Valladolid Fair together with the candidate for reelection to the Presidency of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, an event in which there were 1,300 seats although PP sources have indicated that there were “more than 4,000” people. Among those attending was the former president of the CyL Board Juan José Lucas.
As has been happening in the last days of the campaign, Feijóo has harshly attacked Santiago Abascal’s party, which he has accused of “blocking” governments in the CCAA. “He who presents himself to block the alternative to the Government and scam the citizendeserves punishment from the people,” he emphasized
The president of the ‘popular’ has appealed to unite the center-right vote in the PP so that Mañueco has a “free” Government and “no one can block this land.” “Be free, have a free Government and a Government that depends on the people!” he exclaimed, before a dedicated audience.
Feijóo has criticized that the PSOE closes the campaign in Valladolid accompanied by the Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, and the former president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, “that of business, that of rescues and that of Maduro’s lobbies” and whom “they have hidden throughout the entire campaign.” “What a team. If there is any doubt about why to vote for the Popular Party, let them go to the Socialist Party rally,” he emphasized.
In this final touch of the campaign, in which the head of the list for the province, María Pardo, has also participated; the president of the PP of Valladolid, Conrado Íscar; and the mayor of the city, Jesús Julio Carnero, Feijóo has shown convinced that the PP is going to do “well” in Sunday’s elections but has called on his people to ask people for their support “until the last minute” on Sunday.
Abascal: “It will be the beginning to end Sánchez’s criminal government”
For his part, the president of Vox, Santiago Abascalhas asked the voters of this Sunday’s elections in Castilla y León to vote thinking beyond this community because “if the strength of Vox is great, things are going to change and in a big way” and it will be the beginning to end the “criminal government” of Pedro Sánchez.
At the closing ceremony of the campaign for the elections on March 15, Abascal assured that the only party that can put an end to the PSOE “mafia” is Vox, because the PP, and its leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo, “it’s a scam.”
He has insisted that what is at stake in Castilla y León is what strength Vox can have to change things, because socialism and the left “they have nothing to do.”
“This Sunday we have to vote thinking beyond. “In Castilla y León there is no risk that the left will govern.”he remarked.
