PKS Announces New Leadership for 2025-2030 Term

The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) has officially appointed its new leadership for the 2025-2030 period. Mohamad Sohibul Iman has been named chairman of the PKS Syuro Council, while Al Muzzammil Yusuf will serve as the PKS President. The party has also clarified the reasons behind Salim Segaf Al-Jufri’s departure from his role as chairman of the Syuro Council.
According to PKS Faction Chairman Jazuli Juwaini, the decision to appoint new leaders is part of a “regeneration” process within the party. Speaking to reporters on Thursday (6/5/2025), Jazuli explained that Salim Segaf Al-Jufri himself expressed his desire to prioritize the rejuvenation of leadership within PKS.

Jazuli emphasized that Salim’s concern for regeneration was a key factor in the leadership transition. The First Council of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) for the 2025-2030 period concluded on Wednesday, following discussions held on Tuesday.

“This election reflects the collective spirit and democracy which became the main breath of leadership succession in PKS.”
PKS spokesman Muhammad Kholid stated that the council proceedings were conducted smoothly and with a spirit of unity. The newly appointed members of the PKS Central level Leadership Council (DPTP) for the 2025-2030 term are:
