The 23-year-old Salač was originally supposed to continue in the WC next year in the Dutch team RW Racing GP. But after the team management changed, he lost his place.
The native of Mladá Boleslav thus eventually headed to the American team, which first announced today that it had agreed on the early termination of the contract with the Spaniard Marcos Ramírez, and the evening after announced Salač’s engagement.

Salač debuted in the World Cup in 2018, from the following season he is a regular participant in the series. So far, he has driven 126 races and made it to the podium four times. Before this weekend’s Portuguese Grand Prix, he is currently in 15th place with 82 points.
