On February 5, the Marie-Elisabeth Cavailhés EHPAD in Saint-Pierre-de-Trivisy celebrated the hundredth birthday of Madame Marinette Gineste, born Fortanie Marinette Eugénie.
Born in 1926, Marinette married Mr. Gineste in 1947. After obtaining her school certificate, she worked at the Vabre textile factory. After a busy active life, she entered the EHPAD on October 19, 2015 to join her husband.
His nephew and his wife came especially for this celebration. Her niece, very attached to her, was unable to travel, but remains very present in her heart.
After a speech by Ms. Jullien-Majoub, director of the EHPAD, the festive day continued with the presentation of gifts, warmly surrounded by other residents and staff.
The highlight: original and moving songs retracing the life of Marinette, performed by the members of the “Chant de Paulinet” activity.
The EHPAD cooks prepared delicious cakes, enjoyed by everyone in a warm atmosphere: a day full of memories and emotions for Marinette and the residents.
