One place in the men’s doubles final of the Indonesia Masters 2026 was reserved for the hosts after Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani and Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin qualified for the semifinals. The two will face each other.
In the quarterfinals which took place at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Friday (23/1), Sabar/Reza defeated Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun (Malaysia) with a score of 22-20, 21-19 in 38 minutes.
Sabar/Reza locked the first game even though they were behind 12-18. When things were still 18-20 for the opponent, they managed to score four points in a row to win 22-20.

The second game was no less intense. Sabar/Reza, who was ahead 13-6, then only led 17-16 and the narrow gap continued until 20-19. Even so, they were able to secure the final point to win 21-19.
Sabar/Reza will face Raymond/Joaquin who managed to win the civil war against Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri with a score of 18-21, 21-19, 21-14.
Fajar/Fikri secured the first game even though they had to struggle. They were leading 11-4 at the interval, but then Raymond/Joaquin came back to equalize the score at 16-16. Even so, Fajar/Fikri were able to return to the track to win 21-18.
The second game belonged to Raymond/Joaquin even though they were behind a lot throughout the match. However, they were able to maintain as close a distance as possible to Fajar/Fikri and then stole the momentum at the end. In position 18-19, they managed to get three points to win 21-19.
Raymond/Joaquin then managed to secure the deciding game. Even though the duel was fierce until 12-12, Raymond/Joaquin then won six points in a row to win 18-12. Fajar/Fikri could only add two points before Raymond/Joaquin sealed the win 21-14.
