In September 2022, Russia claimed four Ukrainian regions: Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizjzja. Soon three years of war later, the Russians still check and occupy none of the four annexed regions in their entirety.

However, it has not prevented Russia from demanding that Ukraine pull completely out of the four areas before one can get a ceasefire.
Headquarters divided into two

On Thursday, the Russia headquarters bombed the Kherson region twice every few hours. The administration building is located in Kherson town, which the Russians were driven out of in November 2022.
Since then, the city has been in Ukrainian hands, while the Russians have been only a few kilometers away, on the south side of the Dnipro River. Now the headquarters in Kherson, which the Russians want to take over, have been divided into two of the Russians themselves:
– Why? What is the logic behind it? There is none, writes Zelenskyj’s chief of staff Andrij Jermak in social media.
Also Nobel’s Peace Prize winner Oleksandra Matvijkuk, reacts strongly to the attack:
– This is what the Kremlin’s powerlessness looks like. When Ukraine attacks Russian strategic bombers, Russia destroys the regional administration building in Kherson. Russia cannot win on the battlefield, so they are deliberately destroying Ukrainian cities, writes Matvijchuk on X.
According to Ukrainian sources, the building has been empty for a long time for reasons for safety, but it is currently unclear whether aid workers are damaged in the attack. Russia is in the habit of attacking twice the same place: once to destroy buildings, and again a little later to kill those who may come to clear or offer help.
Zelenskyj is raging too On social media Thursday afternoon:
– These are conscious attacks, not random. It makes no military meaning whatsoever, Zelenskyj writes, before referring to the Russians as “completely disturbed creatures”.
At least five killed
Russia has attacked Russia elsewhere in the country. At least five people, including two women and a one-year-old child, were killed in a Russian drone attack on the city of pryluky in Northern Ukraine, according to Ukrainian authorities.

In addition, six people are injured and admitted to hospitals.
“Five people have been reported dead, including a small child found under the ruins,” Vjatsjeslav wrote Chuver, governor of the Chernihiv region, on Telegram on Thursday.
He stated that the explosions hit a residential area and sustained significant damage.
According to Tjaus, six Shahed-attack drones met residential areas in pryluky early Thursday morning. Several buildings suffered extensive damage.
– These are not isolated events – this is daily terror. This is not war. This is systematic destruction of the Ukrainian people. There are genocide, writes Ukraine’s defense on social media.
New attack
A few hours later, 17 people were injured in a Russian drone attack in Kharkiv, east of Ukraine. Among the wounded are more children and a 93 -year -old woman, says governor Oleh Synjehubov on Telegram.
Four drones hit two apartment blocks. Several fires occurred, and several cars were injured.
“By attacking while people were sleeping in their homes, the enemy has once again confirmed that their tactics are creeping terror,” he wrote.
Alerts revenge
Russia’s full-scale event of Ukraine in February 2022 has demanded tens of thousands of life, laid large parts of East and Southern Ukraine in ruins and driven millions on the run.
Ukraine has stepped up her counter -attacks on Russian soil and carried out a drone attack on Russian military bases this weekend where several bombers were destroyed. The billion class values may have been lost to the Russians.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced revenge for the attacks, and has at the same time rejected both ceasefire and direct negotiations with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyj.
