Rubén Goldín: Universal Clock Exhibition in Rafaela

The event will take place on Saturday, March 7, starting at 9 p.m., in the Rafaela Spanish Society Room, located at Av. Miter 73.

Composer, singer and guitarist, Rubén Goldín was born in Rosario in 1955 and is a prominent figure in Argentine popular music. He was one of the founders of Pablo el Enterrador, a legendary symphonic rock group from Rosario, and during the 80s, he starred in the emergence of the Rosarina Trova musical movement along with artists such as Fito Páez, Juan Carlos Baglietto and Silvina Garré.

With a career that spans more than five decades, his music naturally transitions between rock, tango, folklore and urban songs, and is distinguished by sensitive and committed lyrics. Goldín has an extensive solo discography and outstanding work as a musician, composer and arranger, in addition to numerous collaborations with fundamental artists on the national and international scene, consolidating a career of enormous prestige and artistic validity.

Next Saturday, March 7, he returns to the city of Rafaela to present his recent album Reloj Universal (Great Poets), an album in which he sets to music and interprets unpublished poems by Silvio Rodríguez, Litto Nebbia, Víctor Heredia, Jorge Fandermole, Leo Maslíah and Leopoldo Marechal.

The opening of the event will be performed by the Tosello–Duverne–Yossen trio, made up of Diego Tosello on guitar and voice, Claudio Duverne on piano and Melania Yossen on violin. The musical proposal covers folklore, tango, national rock and Rosario trova songs, as well as works by contemporary authors, approached with their own sound and a careful instrumental interpretation.

The trio’s carefully selected repertoire stands out for its poetic depth and high musical flight, offering a range of prominent Argentine authors and composers.

Tickets are on sale at the Faber Bookstore (Saavedra 52), at Jalito Café (Rivadavia 115) and at the November 22 Music School that operates in the Sargento Cabral Musicians Union 137. The values ​​are as follows: general advance tickets until Friday, March 6, $16,000; and for those associated with the organizing institution, retirees and music students $12,000. At the box office, at the time of the recital, general admission will cost $18,000.
