In an effort to bolster the ranks of social health and socio-assistance auxiliaries,the lombardy region is allocating important funds towards training initiatives. Regional councilor for education, training and work, Simona Tironi, announced a Six million euros allocation during a conference in Brescia.The funding is intended to make training courses shorter and more attractive,addressing the current issues of high costs (2000-2,800 euros) and lengthy durations that frequently enough lead to participants dropping out for other job opportunities.

The Measurement

The Context

The ATS Brescia territory includes 91 RSA with 7,452 seats. General manager Claudio Sileo assures that “Minutage for each guest is guaranteed,” despite staffing challenges. He also noted that only 4 sanctions or warnings issued as 2023 were related to staff shortages.
