A man died on the outskirts of Rome due to a firecracker exploding. The incident occurred in via Cortemaggiore around 5.30pm. An ambulance from 118 was on site and found the man on the ground lifeless with injuries to his abdomen and face. The victim is believed to be a 63-year-old Moldovan. The Ostia carabinieri are working on the matter. According to an initial reconstruction, the man died due to the explosion of a firecracker, the nature of which is still being examined by investigators.
