TRAFFIC SITUATION AT 10:00 PM

The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police informs that, at this time, no highways are signaled with traffic stopped as a result of any road event or unfavorable weather conditions.
On the A2 Bucharest-Cernavodă highway, on the kilometer section 25 – 27, the direction of travel towards Bucharest, it is snowing heavily, the road is covered with snow, traffic is difficult, but there are no road incidents recorded on this segment. It is operated with snow removal machines. Instead, two road incidents with material damage were reported, in which the vehicles entered the ditch, on the A2, at kilometer 54, heading towards Bucharest and kilometer 23, heading towards the coast, but not due to meteorological reasons.
Precipitation in the form of sleet and snow is being reported on the A1 Bucharest-Pitesti highway, with no recorded road events.
On the A3 Bucharest-Brașov and A7 Ploiești-Adjud highways, the road is partially wet, without precipitation, with increased wind.
In Ilfov county, the following events are registered:
– DN4 (the border with Călăraşi) – accumulation of snow, a van that went out of the roadway (no victims) is removed from the roadway;
– DN3, between place. Brănesti and Izlaz, snow layer on the road, no cars blocked at this moment;
In Călăraşi county, the following events are registered:
– DN3, at the exit from Lehliu, Călărași county, a road train overturned on the roadway, no one was injured. Traffic blocked for the removal of the shot.
– DN3A, km. 3, traffic blocked by a snow removal machine.
– DN3, at km 71, between Răzvani and Nucetu, road traffic is blocked due to two tires that remained immobilized on the road.
Precipitation in the form of sleet and snow is reported on several roads in Dâmbovița, Prahova, Călăraşi counties, the road being wet, in some places covered with a layer of snow.
Naval traffic:
– Constanța county: maneuvers suspended in all seaports due to weather conditions.
Rail traffic:- No rail traffic blockages are registered.
For safe driving, we recommend drivers:
– to be well informed before setting off on the road about the weather conditions in the areas they are passing through and the traffic restrictions imposed;
– to use the air conditioning and lighting systems when the situation requires it;
– to keep an appropriate distance while walking, which allows them to stop safely;
– to adapt the speed to the road and traffic conditions;
– to ensure constantly, before each maneuver and to signal in time the change of traffic lane or direction;
– to avoid dangerous overtaking and any aggressive behavior;
– to adopt a preventive behavior in traffic, without having concerns at the wheel that would distract them from driving;
– to respect all traffic rules, driving with great responsibility.
