(Albany MN-) Two men were hurt in a single vehicle crash in Stearns County Thursday. The sheriff’s department says at approximately 6:36 p.m., they got a call of a single vehicle crash at County Road 157 and 248th Avenue, west of the City of Albany. It was determined a pickup was traveling eastbound on County Road 157 approaching 248th Avenue when it hydroplaned and the driver lost control of the vehicle. The truck then traveled into the north ditch and rolled. The driver,21-year-old Diego Beltran Sanchez of Long Prairie, had minor injuries and his passenger, Oscar Enrique Ramerez Mendez, 20, of Long Prairie had a face laceration and an arm injury. Both were evaluated by Albany Fire and Rescue and transported to the Melrose Hospital.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Albany Police Department and Melrose Ambulance.
