Rita Talty Launches Virtual Assistant Service: A New Era for the Star’s Wife
In a significant move that marks a new chapter in her life, Rita Talty, the wife of renowned entertainer Daithí Ó Sé, is set to launch a virtual assistant service. For years, Rita has supported her husband in his diverse career, from his time as a contestant on the Rose of Tralee pageant to his role on RTÉ’s popular show, RTÉ Today. Now, it’s her turn to shine in the limelight with an entrepreneurial venture tailored to the needs of small businesses, entrepreneurs, and content creators.
Rita Talty’s Journey: From Rose of Tralee to Virtual Assistant Service
Rita, who originally hails from New Jersey and represented her home state in the 2006 Rose of Tralee, has been quietly observing and learning from her husband’s experiences in the entertainment industry. Keen on applying the knowledge she has accrued, she has decided that “now is the time to expand.” Her new venture, which offers administration, calendar scheduling, and social media management, aims to simplify tasks for those who need focused support.
Offering Valuable Expertise
Through her experience, Rita has picked up invaluable skills in managing various aspects of a celebrity’s life, which translates to providing top-notch service on both personal and professional levels. Her new virtual assistant service is not just about checking emails and scheduling meetings; it’s about efficiently handling tasks and allowing clients to focus on what they do best.
“After years of working behind the scenes for @daithiose, now is the time to expand. I will be offering admin, calendar scheduling, and social media management to small businesses, entrepreneurs, and content creators,” Rita wrote on Instagram, announcing her venture.
“Here’s to working smarter, not harder!” she added, encapsulating her philosophy and commitment to her new business.

A Loving Family
Beyond her new professional venture, Rita and Daithí share a loving family with their 10-year-old son, Mícheál Óg. In an interview with RSVP magazine in 2022, Daithí gushed about his family, stating, “It is the three of us, we are a gang, and you don’t want to go away without one of the gang. That’s the way we like it.”
Daithí elaborated further on their commitment to their son, stating, “Rita and I never go away for a night or a weekend away without him because we don’t want to.”
The couple’s relationship blossomed during a series of chance meetings in the United States. In 2010, when Daithí was in New York filming a show for TG4, he met Rita during a brief two-day visit. They would continue to see each other across different parts of the country before Rita finally joined Daithí in New York, culminating in their relationship.

Celebrating Their Love Story
Daithí and Rita’s relationship is a true love story, characterized by serendipitous meetings and mutual respect, which blossomed into a dedication to family and service. Their journey—from the Rose of Tralee to the bustling life of showbiz and now into entrepreneurship—stands as an inspiration to many.
Best of luck to Rita Talty in her exciting new venture. Her combination of industry experience and personal touch promises to make a significant impact on the lives of her clients.
