In a message to Hungarian clients, based in London, he said he was not able to provide their cryptic services due to recent Hungarian legislative changes. Revolut emphasized that they are working hard to make these features available as soon as possible.
As a result of the interruption, Hungarian users are unable to create new reception orders and stack new tools, and all payments will be rejected. At the same time, the application continues to be able to sell existing cryptocurrencies and to refer to Krypto to an external wallet, but the latter can only be achieved for certain tokens.
Other financial services of Revolut are not affected by this change.
Users can continue to fully use credit card payments, transfer and investment services.
According to the bank, users do not have to do anything to make this change come into effect. However, those who wish can continue to sell their existing cryptocurrencies or refer to them in an external wallet for a limited number of tokens.
