The catering empire of Jean-Michel Teerlinck and Julien Malingreau in Ghent continues to grow. Today they run no fewer than ten businesses, including café Mòris, dance café Millie Vanillie and restaurant De Lieve.
A year ago they opened Etienne Etienne and to celebrate, they are giving away a dinner for ten people. Total value: 2,500 euros.

“Etienne Etienne is an apartment above restaurant De Lieve that is rented out for private dining“, says marketing manager Aiko Desmet. “This means that the winners will receive a private chef and private service.”
Drank at will
The winners of the promotion will receive a seasonal five-course menu and drinks as desired. “They are spoiled like kings,” says Desmet. “I had to convince the owners because it was a significant amount. But we couldn’t let this anniversary pass by.”

Etienne Etienne is a ‘unique concept’, according to Desmet. Because where in Flanders can you rent an entire flat for a dinner? “It’s not just a room. It’s a very stylish apartment with its own living room, dining table and kitchen. It is also completely closed off from the restaurant below.”
To enter the competition, follow Etienne Etienne on Instagram, share the competition post to your story and tag your friends in the comments. The winner will be announced on January 20 and can choose a date for the dinner.
