According to information released by insider Dusk Golem, the company is carefully analyzing the brand’s recent performance. This includes everything from expert critic notes to community opinions and internal engagement data. The idea is to gather as much information as possible before defining the creative and commercial direction of the next titles.
The success of Resident Evil Requiem would have reinforced this metrics-based strategy. In addition to it, the remake of Resident Evil 4 is also part of the analysis package. Both were well received, with high averages on review aggregators, something that naturally weighs on the company’s decisions.
According to the leak, Capcom considers reviews, general player feedback and even possible official surveys that should be sent to the public. The Code: Veronica remake would be one of the most anticipated projects by fans since the success of the Resident Evil 2 remake.
The original title occupies an important place in the chronology of the saga, functioning as a direct continuation of the classic trilogy and deepening the story of Claire and Chris Redfield after the events of Raccoon City.
